Itselectric, winner of AcceliCITY 2023, has chosen the city of Boston to install hundreds of curbside EV chargers using a unique “behind-the-meter” approach. This partnership, aligned with Boston’s Green New Deal, provides accessible EV charging at no cost to property owners, who also share in the revenue, fostering cleaner, community-focused transportation solutions.

Pharem BioTech, the 2021 AcceliCITY winner, has chosen AstraZeneca as the host for their AcceliGOV pilot. Together, they are pioneering enzyme-based solutions to treat wastewater from pharmaceutical manufacturing. Using Pharem's Zymatic technology, this collaboration focuses on the sustainable treatment of organic compounds, starting with a pilot at AstraZeneca’s Södertälje site in Sweden.

GOSeeTheCity has partnered with the city of Gainesville, Florida, to help local eateries reduce food waste and support the city’s zero-waste objectives. The platform connects restaurants with surplus food to customers and nonprofits, offering discounts or donation options to keep food out of landfills and support community needs.

As part of the AcceliGOV program, HAH Parking is partnering with New Bedford to launch a pilot that integrates all city meters and garages into its app. This initiative will simplify parking for residents and visitors by providing real-time space availability and easy, on-the-go reservations, aiming to enhance parking accessibility and convenience for all.

As the 2022 AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge winner, Automedi chose Surprise, Arizona, as the pilot site for its innovative plastic waste reduction solution. This project uses 3D printing technology to transform plastic waste into functional products, supporting Surprise’s sustainability efforts and showcasing a new approach to recycling.

 Leading Cities’ 2021 AcceliGOV competition has awarded Hamburg a pilot of Bioo Education, a unique renewable energy solution that generates electricity from soil and plants. Hamburg was chosen from seven finalists, securing Bioo Education kits for 10 high schools to educate students on this innovative technology and support a sustainable energy future.
